Handsome Hikers
William and Daddy at Lair o' the Bear trail in Morrison. We were pretty warm at first, but as we got deeper into the hike to where the snow had not melted, the air began to cool, and so did we! 3/15/2015.
All Skied Out
Cole and Auntie had a blast on the slopes, and spent some time relaxing (with cookies!) after they were done. 3/14/2015.

Ready for the Slopes
We visited Auntie Chelsey in Avon so Cole could do a little skiing. He got all bundled and ready to go at Auntie's apartment. Mommy and Daddy stayed there with Will so he could nap, and then went out to meet Auntie and Cole in Beaver Creek. 3/14/2015.

Seven Months Old!
William is seven months old, and big enough to take Guido the Orangutan in a bar fight! Will still has a gummy mouth, but we think some teeth will pop though soon. (Drool!) He's also more and more interested in his brother, and follows him around as much as he can (if not by rolling, then with his eyes). He babbles away, and we love to hear his sweet voice. William enjoys listening to music and spending time outdoors. Favorite foods include avocado and sweet potatoes, which is appropriate, because he's just as sweet as can be. 3/4/2015.
First Day!
William's first day in the Dolphin room at Family Flex was a success! He was a happy baby all day, and happy to see Mommy when she came to get him! He even napped (for a little bit). 3/2/2015.
Ready or Not
All ready (physically) for William's first day at daycare. Emotionally, not so much. Cole added the giraffe stuffy, sweet kid. 3/1/2015.
In Case It's Not Obvious
William and Cole, your parents are big dorks. (For date night, we tried out an escape game at Epic Escape Game. It was awesome. Oh, and we escaped.) 2/28/2015.
Hot Cocoa
Every sledding trip must end with hot cocoa to thaw the hands and warm the belly. 2/22/2015.
Sledding
Cole and Mommy went sledding down the big hill in Central Park. Cole was in snowy heaven, sledding down and hiking back up the big hill all on his own. Mommy got to ride along quite a few times, too! It was cold, but the excitement and extra layers kept us warm. 2/22/2015.
Slumber Party
Movie Date
Cole and Mommy went on a buddy/mommy date to see Walking with Dinosaurs in 3D at the Denver Museum of Science and Nature IMAX theater. Mommy was worried that Cole would think some parts were scary, but he loved it and didn't cover his eyes once! 2/15/2015.
Uptown Funk
Cole gets down. And when he sings along, he sings, "Up, down, funk you up, up down funk you up," instead of "Uptown funk." This is one of our dance party faves, along with "Everything is Awesome" from the Lego movie, and Taylor Swift's, "Shake it Off." 2/14/2015.
Hiking Fam
We were all pretty tired at this point. Time to turn around and get some brunch in our bellies! (We did, at Cafe Aion in Boulder. Yum.) 2/8/2015.
Ninja Skills
Cole used his ninja skills to scale rocks and boulders. He picked himself right up the couple times he took a fall. We were so proud of him. It was a pretty steep hike, but he kept right on climbing. 2/8/2015.
Ninja Hiker
Cole tried taekwondo for the first time this week, and he talked about being a ninja the whole hike. He used his "ninja focus skills" to make it up the foothills. 2/8/2015.

Got It!
When I do catch the elusive smile, it's always fuzzy! I swear, the second I bring up the camera, bam! Smile gone. When I move it away, smile comes back. When I quickly lift it again, I get this. Fuzzy smile. Will, you are a goose. 2/7/2015.
Shark!
Cole visited the Denver Aquarium for his friend Dawson's birthday. He loved the sharks! William was pretty into the whole thing, too. 2/7/2015.

Six Months Old!
Half a year! How does that happen? Mommy is getting teary just writing this (especially because she's writing this close to William's FIRST BIRTHDAY), but let's pretend he just turned six months: This past month, William ate solid foods for the first time! We found out fast that Will has a very strong gag reflex, but a little spit-up or throw-up doesn't take the smile off his adorable little face. Also this past month, Will had his first (double) ear infection, and was pretty sick for a couple weeks. Boo! During that time, he preferred to lie around and snuggle rather than practice his scooting, but that was ok with Mommy (the snuggling, not the sickness). William's temperament is still mild and sweet, even when (especially when) he's feeling under the weather. We sure love this little guy, and he makes our hearts grow bigger each day. 2/4/2015.
Bee Mine
Cole and Mommy made Cole's Valentines together again this year. Cole glued the wings and stripes. He also wrote his friends' names and signed his own name on each little bee! 2/4/2015.
