The Cutest Little Shiner That Ever There Was

Cole is a very active young lad. That's good, by and large. Sometimes, though, his adventuresome nature gets him into trouble. See, Cole thought he had this standing thing all figured out, but as it turns out, that is not the case. We're good parents, we swear! Sometimes kids fall when they're learning to walk! Two Little Bears Went Out To Play

Joining the Diedrichs at King's for brunch were Aaron, Julie, and little Colin. Cole and Colin swear that they didn't plan to both wear their bear suits to brunch. We totally don't believe them. 2/12/2012.

Eating Out

Eating out is one of Mommy and Daddy's favorite things to do, and now that Cole is eating more table food, it's been fun to bring him along. Of course, each trip involves a sweep of the floor beneath Cole's high chair afterwards. . . . This particular trip was to King's Wine Bar, which (though you wouldn't know it by the name) has some of the best breakfast food we've had in Minneapolis. Cole was a very pleasant brunch companion, so we look forward to as many meals out as we can manage before we move! 2/12/2012.

Orangutans Meet Baby Bear

Cole loves to visit Como Zoo in St. Paul. He really seems to enjoy watching all the funny animals -- especially the orangutans, which are Daddy's favorite! We wonder what our orangutan friends thought of the little baby bear peeking in on them! 2/4/2012.

Teeth!

Teeth! They came all at once (well, four of them did -- but that's nearly all). We have to say, it wasn't the most pleasant experience for anyone in the house, but now that they're here, Cole seems to enjoy putting them to use. Every wooden block in the house now has tiny little teeth marks. 2/4/2012.

Bear in a Candy Shop

Our little bear joined Gramma and Bobpa on an exciting trip to Candy Alley, where Gramma and Bobpa were excited to find tons of classic confections that brought back many sweet memories. Cole was excited, too. Note the drool. 2/4/2012.

Gramma Kisses

We love it when Gramma and Bobpa come to visit us from Iowa. Cole especially loves all the extra cuddles and kisses he gets. Cole is really good at giving kisses back, too. But watch out! He now has teeth (see subsequent posts!), so sometimes the kisses feel more like baby bites! 2/4/2012.
