Splash!

Cole enjoys the little blow-up pool in our backyard.  Sadly, our yard is slightly sideways.  Upside:  built-in pool slide?  6/29/2014.

C-O-L-E Spells Cole

Cole wrote his name with sidewalk chalk without prompting, and then turned around and exclaimed, "Look, Mommy:  C-O-L-E spells 'Cole!'"  He was proud.  6/19/2014.  

My Dad

On the falling down part, Mommy's theory is that it started with Ring Around the Rosie, which we used to play quite a bit.  From that, falling down (usually with Cole landing on Daddy) just kind of became a game Daddy and Cole would play sometimes.  The basketball answer is questionable, but may have something to do with it being the sport Cole and Daddy play together most often (thanks, Little Tikes basketball hoop).  6/15/2014.
