We attended our first Rock the Cradle at MIA and the Children's Theatre in Minneapolis today. Would you believe us if we told you that we had Cole just so we could attend this event? Ok, so that's stretching the truth a little, but it is a nice added bonus for mommy and daddy fans of 89.3 The Current. The place was jam-packed and for good reason. All the must-see babies were there: DJs Jack, Josie, Izzy and Colin, and, of course, Eva and Amelia, the event's poster children. And everyone was rocking out to kid-friendly (but not too kid friendly) tunes. Of course, they rolled out the red carpet when DJ Cole arrived. See, he's kind of a big deal. Above, he's working on a new remix of Rubber Ducky, with samples from Elmo's Song and featuring guest vocals from Brother Ali. It's getting a lot of buzz among the toddler hipster set. 2/26/2012.
