Thanks for the sweet onesie, L1. May 28, 2011.

Cole's First Big Trip -- Iowa!!!

Cole made his very first big car trip this Memorial Day Weekend -- to the great state of Iowa! Grandma Lily and Grandpa Bob anxiously awaited Cole's arrival, and they surprised him with the fanciest of baby swings, equipped with sound machine and waving palm fronds. Cole had many visitors, including Aunt Jean, buddies Chris and Amy, Aunt Libby and Uncle Lenny, and Great-Grandma and -Grandpa Kennedy. And, joy of joys, Cole got to visit the doctor's office (Grandma Lily's work) to get weighed (10 pounds, 15.5 ounces)! Cole received countless hugs and cuddles from Grandma Lily and Grandpa Bob! He misses them already! May 28-30, 2011.

Happy Retirement, Nana!

Cole made a guest appearance at Nana's retirement party in Saint Cloud. Needless to say, he kinda stole the show. He was quite impressed to hear all of the wonderful things Nana's students and co-workers had to say about her tenure as a teacher of fifth grade students. She made some very lasting impressions and will be greatly missed, for sure. Luckily, Cole will get to enjoy Nana in her other very important role: Grandmother! May 26, 2011.

Rockin' in Baby P's Swing

Taken over by a bout of the fussies, Cole required a little assistance in the sleep category. From the womb (amazing, right?), Baby Pollock graciously offered to share her adorable barnyard-themed swing with Baby Cole. Here, Cole is seen thoroughly enjoying a barnyard-themed snooze. Thanks, Baby P (and proud parents-to-be, Rach and Dan). 5/25/2011.

Who Do I Look Like?

Cole Visits Doctor Hobbs

Cole makes his first visit to Doctor Hobbs at five days old. Grandma Lily comes along for the ride. Cole loves his doctor!

Baby Burrito

Daddy is the master of the swaddle. . . . But sometimes Baby Cole still manages to sneak his little fingers out.

Cole's First Bath

Cole had his first sponge bath a few days after his arrival. Not his favorite experience.

Cole's First Walk

Cole's mom and dad took him on his first walk around (ok, part of the way around) Lake Harriet when Cole was just a few days old. Ah, fresh air!

Cole Loves Orangutans -- And Really, Who Doesn't?

Guido the Orangutan has been one of Cole's dad's favorite stuffed animals since he was a little kid. Guido had been eager to meet Cole, and from the looks of it, the introduction went swimmingly.

Cole's Snowboarder Hat

Cole's Aunt Chelsey loves snowboarding, so she got him his first snowboarder hat. Naturally, the cutest picture of his face that day was wearing this ridiculous thing.

Cole Loves His Cradle

Cole's Grandpa Bob made this beautiful cradle out of wormwood. It's brand new, but it looks like it's been in the family for generations. Gorgeous.
